Installation & Best Practices
 

  • Pre-Assembly

    1. Verify plate orientation as the chamfer faces should point toward concrete pour.

    2. Align captive nuts with girder splice points or waler channels.
       

  • Bolting & Securing

    1. Tighten M16/M20 bolts to 30–35 Nm to ensure plates remain flush during pour.

    2. Use drop-forged washers under bolt heads to distribute clamping force.
       

  • Formwork Alignment

    1. Check haunch plate level and plumb using a spirit level.

    2. Shim minor deviations (< 1 mm) with stainless-steel shims to maintain tolerance.
